Jack has a comfortable teaching style that allows him to take dense material and make it understandable. And as a guitar player that has taken many online courses, while many teachers have a lot to offer, I have never seen a more comprehensive program that takes musical theory and ideas and brings them straight away to real world applications.I love moving through the course, and never find it overwhelming but always instructional.
The modules follow a great progression, giving you the necessary skills to play most styles of popular music. And the bottom line is, every time I pick up the guitar now, I’m using the knowledge that I’ve gained to help my soloing and rhythm playing. And applying this knowledge in my playing is where the rubber really meets the road.
This course has made guitar playing more fun and satisfying for me.

(Professional guitar player and studio engineer)16 years ago I decided I wanted to learn to play the guitar. I was 48. I could strum a few chords and I could read music as I had never forgotten from being in my junior high school band class. But anything with more than 2 or 3 chords, forget about it.
If you want to not only learn how to play, but learn why it works, this course will do it for you. After taking lessons with Jack for so long, it was great to see these tutorials. In fact, it is easier to understand now because it’s like having an instant recall library at your disposal. I can pause the video and think about the lesson material, and play and experiment right then and there. It is a really great course and so much better than just learning to play songs by rote which is what most of us do. You will get everything you need to put together your own music and it will sound great!
Have fun, experiment and get ready to drive your wife crazy!
Glen Volk,
(guitar enthusiast)I often think about our lessons and where I was at in ability and musicality to where I am now; playing and learning bebop and Charlie Parker solos on the guitar! Its wild to think that I wouldn’t have gotten here without the time we spent working together.
In looking over the modules, including the upcoming Jazz for Rockers, I’ve got to say that it’s a lot of work but very crucial, and if your students reach and complete that phase they should be a well oiled playing machine.
I can say you hit the nail on the head with which what concepts to focus on
